Welcome to Russian Blueszz Cattery, a TICA-registered Russian Blue cattery in New Jersey. We specialize in healthy, purebred Russian Blue kittens and focus on quality over quantity with only a few litters each year.
Our Approach
Home Raised, Carefully Socialized, and Health Focused
Our kittens are raised underfoot and receive daily love, care, handling, playtime, and attention. This helps them grow into affectionate, intelligent, and social companions that are comfortable being part of family life.
Our cats and kittens receive routine veterinary care, vaccinations, microchipping, and health screening. Before a kitten leaves for a new family, we organize the medical records and the information needed for the transition.
Our Story
A Family Cattery in Old Bridge, New Jersey
Our original website tells the story of a lifelong love of cats and other animals. Russian Blueszz Cattery was established in October 2020, when Narla and Simba had their first litter.
Since then, we have welcomed many Russian Blue kittens and watched them join loving homes. We believe in responsible breeding, producing only a limited number of kittens each year and following a natural breeding program rather than focusing on volume.
Our Russian Blues are the center of our family life. They spend time with us inside the home, interact with the family, and enjoy the same everyday environment they will eventually experience with their new owners.
Life at the Cattery
Space to Grow and a Home to Belong In
We have a spacious cattery enclosure, but our cats are not kept apart from family life. They spend plenty of time indoors with us, relax on beds and laps, and become familiar with normal household sounds and routines.
Early socialization is important to us because the first weeks of a kitten’s life shape how confidently it handles new people, new environments, and the move into a permanent home.

Russian Blues are known for their silky silver-blue coats, emerald-green eyes, and loyal personalities. They are playful, intelligent, affectionate companions that often form deep bonds with the people they trust.
Many Russian Blues enjoy being part of daily activities and may follow their favorite person from room to room. They can be reserved around strangers at first, but once comfortable they are loving and playful.
They also benefit from mental stimulation, interactive toys, climbing space, and a stable routine. With thoughtful introductions, many adapt well to homes with other pets while keeping their distinctive loyal personality.
